On Saturday 13th June 140 golfers played in the Club Captain's charity Day at Langley Park GC, Beckenham, in aid of Dreams Come True.

Everyone played with balls bearing the Dreams Come True logo that they were able to buy at registration with a voluntary donation.

A halfway house gazebo decorated with Dreams Come True banners and balloons was erected by the 12th tee with drinks and finger food kindly donated by the Club Captain (see picture).

The golf event was followed by a fantastic family fun afternoon with various types of entertainments, including BBQ, bouncy castle, face painting, DJ, selling of home made cakes donated by the Club Ladies. There was a very happy atmosphere and everyone  had a good fun.

In the evening, after the prize giving, the Lady Captain delivered a thank you speech explaining the importance and the purpose of the charity, people were extremely receptive and generous and at the end of the day an astonishing sum of £2000 was raised. A very exciting a successful  event!
