Celebrating 3 Fantastic Years in Partnership with Savills
During the 3 years of working together, Savills has raised an amazing total of £270,000: enough to fulfil over 100 dreams.
Savills has been a fantastic corporate partner for the last three years and we’d like to say a huge thank you for their unbounded energy and enthusiasm. The dedication shown to helping us fulfil the dreams of children with serious and life-limiting conditions has been nothing short of impressive. During the 3 years of working together, Savills has raised an amazing total of £270,000: enough to fulfil over 100 dreams.
There have been many highlights during our fun-filled partnership. Savills have volunteered over 200 total hours of their time, and have gone to great lengths to fundraise. Perhaps the most ambitious fundraising challenge they took part in was the London Marathon. The Savills Marathon team was our fastest ever corporate team, and one of their female runners was our fastest ever female marathon runner! Many individuals also took part in an Arctic Trek, a Coast to Coast Cycling Event and a ‘3 Peaks 24 Hour Challenge’. The endurance and dedication that Savills have demonstrated in over 20 of these events has been inspirational. Of course, everyone involved also had enormous fun along the way, and Savills was even able to meet some the families whose lives they had impacted.
Possibly the most fulfilling aspect for everyone involved has been to hear about some of the dreams that were able to be realised as a result Savills’ fundraising. For instance, three year old Jacob from Hertfordshire—who lives with Hurler Syndrome-- was able to meet all his favourite CBeebies characters whilst his whole family stayed at a lovely villa in CBeebies Land in Alton Towers. Another dream Savills helped to come true is for 22 year old Libby, who had to interrupt her University studies in Marine Biology due to a sudden cancer diagnosis. The funds we raised with Savills enabled us to send Libby to Sharm El Sheik, Egypt for a magical three days of diving and even studying for her PADI qualification. 100 dreams have been fulfilled, providing the children and their families with unforgettable life-long memories.
Having now reached the end of our partnership with Savills, we are filled with gratitude for the impact they have had, helping improve the lives of children with serious and life-limiting conditions. Dreams Come True has had three of its most successful years yet, and Savills has, without a doubt, been instrumental in helping us achieve this.
