On Friday 5th May the Manchester Development team worked hard to put together the perfect ladies evening at Richmond Tea Rooms! The quirky venue set the scene with an Alice in Wonderland theme and scrumptious afternoon tea with sandwiches, quiches and a fluffy scone with jam and cream, delicious!

All guests were provided with their afternoon tea and free to roam the pretty venue discovering all its nooks and crannies with walkways and mad hatters everywhere.

We invited along a local spa academy called Chill out beauty spa, they brought students and heaps of materials for the guests to experiment with! Many guests treated themselves to a new hairstyle, the spa brought along heaps of accessories, extensions, and equipment for the guests to try out on themselves or models.

They also brought along a portable gel nail station where attendees could also get a perfect set of shiny nails!

On the evening we were also able to conduct a raffle for guests to purchase tickets for due to the generosity of local companies, this helped us drum up the fundraising profits all in the name of Dreams Come True.

The evening was a massive success with all guests full from their afternoon tea, sparkling new nails and hair and the feeling of doing something good for an amazing cause!

We decorated the private room with leaflets and information about the charity where guests were able to read previous dreams stories and we were on hand to answer any questions about Dreams Come True.

On the evening we managed to raise £205 for Dreams Come True which we were massively happy with!

I would also like to say massive thanks to Chill Out Beauty Spa, in particular, Michelle, they engaged all guests and the event wouldn’t have been anywhere near as successful without them! Check out their website here; http://www.chilloutbeautytraining.co.uk
