International Artist, Askild Winklemann raffles off Polo painting in aid of Dreams

Askild was kind enough to raffle off one of her pictures at the event and the amount this raised was remarkable.

International Artist, Askild Winklemann draws on her love of the different cultures she has experienced for her art, combined with her upbringing of the countryside, forests and seas. It therefore makes perfect sense that she would be putting her talents to good use, while in the West Sussex area to attend the Pony Club Polo Championship at Cowdray Estate. What could be more quintessentially British than Polo in the South Downs?

Askild was kind enough to raffle off one of her pictures at the event and the amount this raised was remarkable. Thanks to the generosity of the parents and spectators of the Pony Club Polo Championships, Askild raised £750 for Dreams Come True.

Askild said “As I was painting at an event full of happy children enjoying sports it made sense to support children that are not as fortunate. Besides, I only heard good things about your Charity… Moreover, as they were nearly all parents they could relate to your Charity and therefore, were really generous. However, I will do it again next year throughout the whole weekend. (If I am able to paint there again.)”

We are really grateful to Askild for choosing to support Dreams Come True and to everyone who entered the raffle to win her beautiful painting.
