Sandra's dream has been fulfilled!

Living with spastic cerebral palsy, Sandra’s dream was to have time in a recording studio, learning how the process works and record a song.

Sandra, aged 20 has spastic cerebral palsy and has problems with movement and the tendons in her legs.  Sandra cannot walk without crutches. At the time of her dream with us, Sandra was facing an operation which would mean she would be immobile for many months, so it was important to get her dream completed before this happened

Sandra’s dream was to have time in a recording studio, learning how the process works and record a song.

Sandra's Dream

At the studio, Sandra came prepared with her favourite track – Mercy – by Duffy.  Her cousin Eryka went with Sandra on her dream – they both had a great time and were made to feel really welcome and special. Sandra got the chance to record her track and see all the different things is takes to make a  recording of a song. Only problem was that on the day Sandra had a bad cold which affected her voice! Nonetheless Sandra did the best that she could.

A huge thank you goes to ‘Offbeat Studios’ in Edinburgh for all their help in making sure that Sandra’s dream happened.
