The artwork on sale ranges from landscape to abstract by local artists, Rachel Redfern, Sehila Craft, Tanya Wood and Jax Arnold. There will be over 40 exhibits and a percentage of profits from art sales will be donated to Dreams Come True.
The artists, who are all mature students from the University of Chichester, will also be raffling some of their art with all the proceeds of the raffle going to Dreams Come True.
One of the raffle prizes is a painting called “In Motion at Cowdray”, donated by Rachel Redfern. The 600 x 900 mixed media painting of polo in action will be on display in the Café.
The gallery is free to enter, open to everyone and the artists are happy for people to come in and browse.
Raffle Tickets will be sold for a £1 each and will be on sale in the Bike Shed, next to the farm shop and café, from Friday 5th.
Local artists making dreams come true
Rachel said: “Studio Tuesday has grown from a passion for the arts that has come later in life, a second chance to achieve a personal dream to be a practising artist. We are keen to support the promotion of mature art students as they launch their work into the marketplace.
Becoming an artist as a second career often happens against all odds, we would like to help even out those odds but at the same time raise money for those children at Dreams Come True that fight daily battles but deserve the chance to fulfil their own personal dreams.”
