Today, Wednesday 16th November, marks the start of Rome’s third congress of paediatric palliative care. This conference brings together researchers in the field from around the world to discuss some of the most important issues affecting children and young people with life threatening conditions worldwide.

Our PhD researcher, Jayne Galinsky, was invited to help facilitate a workshop at this conference, by the Maruzza Foundation, who are hosting the conference. Jayne will be speaking about her findings, from the Dreams Come True funded PhD and also be reflecting on her experience of the PhD. You can read more about her PHD on her blog here

Jayne will be facilitating the workshop with professor Julia Downing from the Cicely Saunders Institute and Elizabeth Grant from Edinburgh University.

We are very excited to have a presence at this conference and, if you’d like to know more, you can follow updates from the conference on our twitter account.
