Here are a few ideas to help fund-raise towards our Christmas Appeal.

B - Bake off! Yule logs, mince pies, Christmas pud. Share your picture #christmasdreams

C - Christmas Cards get in touch about sending our e-card in lieu of Christmas cards and make a donation

D - Drinks trolley - fill up a trolley of drinks and sweets and people in your office can make donations for you making them a cuppa!

E - Elf Dash - Join an Elf Dash or set up your own with you local park run or club. Don't forget to take an 'Elfie' :)

F - Festive Fivers - Simply ask everyone to write their name on a fiver, pop it in a hat (preferably a Santa one) and pick a winner. Then split the pot between your lucky winner and Dreams Come True. Send your donation in here.

G - Gift wrap - putting your wrapping skills to the test and get your friends and family to donate for your wrapping service. Contact Claire for help setting this up.

H - Horse races – Whether you take a trip to Newbury with your mates and place some bets on bets, or buy the DVD and play in the comfort of your own home around a toasty fire with popcorn and sweets.

I - Icing on the cake ‘or not’ – There’s probably a good chance you’ve put icing on a cake before. But we bet you haven’t done it blindfolded. Bring a little ‘Generation Game’ to your office and ask colleagues to give it a go – and don’t forget to eat the messy results. #christmasdreams

J - Jolly Jumper Day - Join us on the 15th December with your best Christmas jumper / ears / tie / Santa suit.  Remember to take a selfie and share it with us #christmasdreams

K - Karaoke carols -The highlight of many a Christmas party. Why not sponsor workmates to step up to the mic and take on some seasonal classics? It could be anything from Bing Crosby to Slade and Wham.

L - Letters to Santa - donate £5 and nominate someone to receive a letter from Santa. Click here to order your letter and make a donation.

M - Make your own - bunches of mistletoe, holly wreaths to sell at your local Christmas fayre

N - Night in - watch Christmas films, eat treats and ask your friends to make a donation for you organising the Big Crimbo Night In!

O - Office Olympics – check with your boss first and then arrange some office games and get donations to have a go.  Some ideas: Marathon Race to your sister branch in the neighbouring city and back, in full suit and tie/skirt and heels. Volleyball Screw up your annual appraisal into a ball and lob it over to your colleague sitting opposite. Off-road cycling 10 laps of the canteen. The Desk Chair Sprint keep your bum on your seat and dash for the line.

P - Pick ‘n’ mix trolley – Purchase large bags of sweets or healthy treats (cash & carry is the best place for this) & sell to your colleagues. Old-fashioned sweets are always popular so this will be a hit!

Q - Quizzical Christmas - everyone loves a quiz and you can hold one anywhere! Get local companies involved to donate prizes or just come to play. Will the focus change by rounds or will your quiz be more niche, with all questions specific to a particular band, film or book?

R - Rudolph the red nosed reindeer - You’ve probably played pin the tail on the donkey, but have you tried pinning the nose on Rudolph? Blindfold your colleagues, charge them £1 to enter and give a prize to whoever is ‘on the nose’ with their attempt.

S - Secret Santa - Instead of spending £5 on Secret Santa pressies, either buy a secret Santa certificate or set your limit at £4 and donate the £1 to Dreams Come True.. Contact Sue for your certificate and to make a donation.

T - Twelve days of Christmas challenge - give up or take up something for 12 days in December. You could give up your Christmas latte for 12 days and donate what you save or take one a 12 day 5k a day challenge and get sponsorship.

U - Unwanted Christmas presents - have a bring and buy sale at your work or hold a raffle

V - Vintage Christmas – Go back in time and celebrate a Christmas gone by.

W - Wrap up - Imagine not having to spend hours wrapping up presents every year. Well, if you set up a Christmas wrapping station at work, some kind volunteers could do it all for you for a small donation. Talk to Claire to set this up.

X - Xmas crackers - Invite your friends and family around and hold a  cheese and mulled wine evening after work. If you’re feeling really festive, why not serve mulled wine and a cheese fondue while sporting your favourite reindeer jumper?

Y / Z - Zumba/Yoga-thon – Probably the most fun fundraising you could do, grab your trainers and your mates and arrange a Zumba/yoga class for us. Talk to Claire to set this up.
