Steve's latest challenge
Two more challenges completed! After injuring my knee at Rat Race back in May I wasn’t sure how quick I could recover for my next events. After a lot of rest, no training and a bit of luck I managed to do the Canary Wharf Jog 10km in June, which was followed by the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park 10km last weekend 4th July.
Both very well organized events and have come through both of them injury free. Now the challenge is to get back into full training which is hard in its self at the moment with work commitments but where ever I can find a free hour here and there I am fitting it in, be it going for a run round Canary Wharf during my lunch break, or early in the morning when I am away on business travel.
I am now starting to plan my events for the rest of the year as I continue to challenge myself at least once a month. I am looking to take on some more obstacle races and another half marathon before the year is out and hopefully record a new half marathon PB!
