Dreams challengers prepare for the Great North Run

The Great North Run is approaching, and a number of people are gearing up to run for Dreams! Hear what they had to say about their preparation and fundraising

Alistair Whitby

'Training is going really well, I completed total warrior two weeks ago and managed a few 15k runs this week. I've got about £120 in sponsorship, so going quite well, thank you for the help.'

Gareth Neasham

'Training has been very little but going to have a big 3 weeks as I've been busy at work. I'm still confident of the 1 hour 40 mark, sponsorship is starting to come along.'

Harry Fenwick

'The sponsorship is going fine the £300 won't be a problem. Training OK also. I've had a lazy couple of weeks with running as I have been recovering from a mountain bike crash a couple of weeks ago. I'll try and stay on on my next this weekend!'

'Got my Number yesterday, training is up to 9 miles which was completed last Saturday, ooo my legs... My fundraising is going well, as just over £1400.'

'All is going well ,And I have received my number just looking forward to the big day now Currently managing 10 mile so think I'm ready for it.'
