Group Team Leader Roles
Volunteering groups can be very effective and rewarding for all involved as you work together to achieve goals. You will get involved with a variety of projects such as organising events, raising awareness and representing us in the community.
Each group needs a Team Leader who can take responsibility for running and monitoring activity.
We encourage groups to meet up at least every 5 weeks and to keep in touch via a private Facebook group. (Your Co-ordinator should be a member of this group).
Team Leader roles
This is a key role that really can help raise awareness and increase support in your local area. As a team leader, you will be the head of the group - the ‘driving force’ behind all of your group’s activities.
You will liaise regularly with a Dreams Come True Co-ordinator, who will provide guidance and any fundraising materials you need to make your activities a success.
You will need to arrange regular group meetings, assess the strengths of individuals within group and recruit more members when required.
The team leader role is an excellent way to gain experience for anyone seeking a career in management or event planning.
